About the role

We’re looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager to focus on generating demand and building brand awareness as part of our broader Marketing and Growth Strategy.
As InDebted scales, this position offers significant opportunities for growth, enabling you to expand your impact and influence in line with the evolution of our Marketing team.
Reporting into our Head of Marketing, this role is perfectly suited for a skilled marketer with a firm understanding of how to educate and add value through insightful, interesting and creative content. You will create content that clearly articulates a problem our product solves, sparks conversation, and captures curiosity. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you:

Roles and Responsibilities

You understand the critical role content plays in B2B – particularly to educate audiences on a new category or solution
You know how to maximise content repurposing and distribution across multiple channels – from taking virtual events into short-form videos and podcasts, and longer from guides into carousels and ad creatives
You’re creative at heart and don’t shy away from experimenting, but will always pay close attention to the data and listen to audience signals
You have exceptional writing and editing skills, having written copy and content for multiple purposes, adapting to different tones and audiences
You’re comfortable managing external freelancers including copywriters and designers, writing briefs and managing timelines
While we don’t expect you to be a graphic designer, an eye for design and experience in Canva and Figma is required
You’re a cross-functional and stakeholder management pro, with experience generating buy-in from internal teams for innovative content strategies
You can implement on-page SEO best practice, ensuring website content is optimised for user experience and search engine visibility
You’re comfortable working across both organic and paid channels, supporting the vision, creative and copy for campaigns
You take traditional content concepts like BOFU TOFU with a pinch of salt, and you certainly won’t be asked to gate valuable pieces of content or report on mqls!
You can work autonomously and communicate proactively, and are comfortable being flexible to work with team members across global time zones (we have team members scattered across the UK, US and Australia.)

How does success looks like in the next 6-12 months

You’ll take full ownership of our demand gen and brand-led content, such as organising and distributing our monthly Better Debt live event and podcast series
You’ll identify new opportunities for content themes, formats and channels, setting strategy, managing launches and iterating based on data
You’ll help mature and improve our content planning editorial process
You’ll work with our Founder CEO to build his LinkedIn presence as a key thought leadership awareness channel
You’ll be a critical part of delivering our Growth strategy into new verticals and markets, creating engaging content that addresses our audience’s pain points and shows them solutions
You’ll have lots of scope to step up and make the role your own!
